Burnley make Chelsea feel the blues

It was a day of horror for Chelsea, English Premier League defending champions as they slumped at home 0-3 in the hands of Burnley in less than 42 minutes of play.

It was their first league match of the season.

In a match, which the champions dominated, Gary Cahill first brought home the first horror of the day bagging a red card after fouling Burnley’s Steven Defour.

A few minutes after, Burnley piled more misery on Antonio Conte’s wards, when S.Vokes found the net.

In the 39th minute, S. Ward doubled the visitors advantage. Five minutes after, Vokes registered his brace of the day, giving the visitors a 3 goal advantage.

The second half will show whether the 10 man Chelsea could turn the match around.
